Kelly Jones, Chief People Officer of Cisco, has revealed her current favourite books – sharing on LinkedIn that she tends to read non-fiction in the morning to“ get her brain moving” and fiction to unwind in the evening.
BENJAMIN FRANKLIN: AN AMERICAN LIFE AUTHOR: WALTER ISAACSON Released in 2003, this biography details the life and times of Founding Father Benjamin Franklin.
THE MASTER AND MARGARITA AUTHOR: MIKHAIL BULGAKOV A novel written in the Soviet Union between 1928 and 1940, which Kelly describes as“ the quiet ache of people trying to love and create freely in a world determined to crush both”.

CHAMPIONING MANUFACTURING SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
GE Aerospace is supporting workforce development in communities in Alabama, Ohio, Texas, Malaysia and Poland as part of its US $ 30m‘ Lifting Futures’ initiative. The flagship programme is focused on meeting the growing need for advanced manufacturing – providing 10,000 workers with in-demand skills by 2030. Communities in Ohio and Poland will receive a minimum of US $ 500,000, while communities in Alabama, Texas and Malaysia will receive a minimum of US $ 1m to help close the manufacturing skills gap.
