INVESTING IN LUXURY CRAFTSMANSHIP
As part of efforts to support regional job creation and further investments in luxury craftsmanship, Hermès has inaugurated a new leather goods workshop on Loupes.
The company plans for this workshop to employ 260 artisans, trained at the École Hermès des savoir-faire apprenticeship training centre.
Apprentices are taught the“ techniques of excellence in leatherworking” by the company’ s master artisans and are awarded the vocational diploma in leatherworking and the professional qualification certificate for cutting professions.
