Lorraine( Lo) Stomski, Chief Talent Officer of Walmart, has secured the top spot in Women We Admire’ s top 25 women Chief Talent Officers of 2026. In her role, Lorraine is responsible for Walmart’ s endto-end talent strategy – from acquisition and onboarding to succession planning and performance management. Walmart appointed Lorraine as its first ever Chief Talent Officer in 2024 in order to unify talent acquisition, development and workforce planning under one umbrella. She first joined Walmart in 2016 as Vice President of Global Learning and Leadership, and has previously held roles as a Global Practice Manager for Assessment and Leadership at Aon and a Consultant at AT & T, where she has worked on leadership development and talent acquisition.
