Steered by NVIDIA’ s commitment to fostering employee wellbeing, togetherness and creativity, Gensler set out to create a workplace that instills a connection to the natural world, taking cues from the rugged Pacific Northwestern landscape, with a pinch of Star Trek added for good measure.
Built for people Voyager was conceived in late 2017, designed to be the more social, collaborative counterpart to Endeavor’ s high-performance lablike design – together, the pair provide roughly 1.25 million square feet of campus space. The project was grounded in principles of flexibility, innovation and biophilic design – an architectural and interior approach that enhances human wellbeing through the effective use of natural light, plants and organic materials. And, as you’ d expect from a company widely celebrated as the world’ s most valuable, it’ s suitably impressive. According to Gensler, NVIDIA wanted a building that would“ remind employees they’ re part of a bigger story”.
