THE BRIEFING
WOMEN’ S HEALTH IN THE WORKPLACE
Is the workplace equipped to support women’ s health? According to research from Kearney, many organisations are facing gaps in workplace support for women’ s health. Just 65 % of employers have reached mature stages of action when addressing the healthcare needs of women in the workplace ', with Kearney suggesting that many organisations still approach healthcare benefits for women through isolated initiatives, such as maternity benefits, rather than embedding it into workforce design.
CHRO PRIORITIES IN Q3 AND Q4
According to Great Place to Work, the role of the CHRO has never been more significant.
To improve employee retention, engagement and wellbeing, its Workplace Culture Outlook report recommends a series of priorities HR leaders should take into account when planning for the second half of 2026:
1: Ensure employees understand their organisation’ s AI adoption roadmap to reduce career anxiety and restore a sense of forward momentum.
2: To create DEIB policies that benefit the wider workforce, CHROs should set specific inclusion goals for leadership teams and build DEIB metrics into manager performance expectations.
3: Create a management culture that prioritises wellness to help improve employee retention and wellbeing.
4: Flexibility is becoming more important to younger workers. CHROs should design flexible working policies that can serve people across a variety of work styles. hrchiefmagazine. com
