IBM CHRO Nickle LaMoreaux is focusing on prioritising career durability for IBM employees – particularly though the company’ s THINK40 programme.

This initiative asks employees to complete 40 hours of annual professional development training per year, although the average IBM employee completes more than 80.

Nickle has also announced the company plans to triple its entry level hiring in 2026 – with the positions redesigned so the company can make a long-term investment in its people as it increases its AI capabilities.
